Stay The Course You've Been Assigned
Dear Freedom Family,
This past Sunday, we explored the call to endurance and perseverance in the Christian walk, drawing from James chapter 1 and several key passages throughout Scripture. Pastor challenged us not to drift from our God-given assignments, no matter the weight of the attacks, the exhaustion of the journey, or the discouragement of the season. Just as Paul declared in his final letter to Timothy that he had fought a good fight and finished his race, we are each called to stay the course we have been assigned, not in our own strength, but through the power of the Holy Spirit who lives within us.
Takeaways:
Attacks are not a sign of defeat but a signal that you are a threat to the enemy's kingdom. When everything seems to be coming against you, it often means you are standing on the threshold of a supernatural breakthrough. Do not be weary. Your season is coming, and it has your name and a date on it.
Endurance is not optional in the Christian life. To endure, as described in Matthew 24:13, means to stay under the load with fortitude and courage. God has not called you to run from difficulty but to remain steady beneath it, trusting that He who called you will also sustain you.
Your yes releases His yes. Whether you have been saved for decades or are still considering a step of faith, God is calling you out of every holding pattern today. The runway is clear. The delays you have experienced have not been denials. It is time to land.
As Pastor Jerry reminded us, it is not about how we started or how long we have been on the journey. It is about the hyphen, what we do with the time between the beginning and the end. Let us not go through the motions of faith. Let us live it, carry it, and finish strong.
We are grateful for each of you and believe that God is doing something extraordinary in and through this house.
In His service,
Freedom
