How it all started...
Freedom was founded in April of 1990 by Pastor Virgil Mullins as East Pittsburg Pentecostal Church. In 1994 Jerry and Kim Lewis started attending EPPC and were made pastors in October of the same year. From then until 2000, the church experienced amazing growth as God began a work in Pastor Jerry to build a new facility, a 22,000 sq. ft. building, which was completed in November of 2001. It was in January of 2008 that East Pittsburg would change it's name to Freedom Christian Fellowship Church.
Expanding the vision...
Pastor Jerry has always been a leader of vision. Although we've seen many great changes over the years, as a church we can all see that our story isn't over. As we look to the future, let's help our Pastor pray for clear direction for church expansion. Our Pastors is believing the best is yet to come for Freedom as we are looking to expand our current facility.
